International Certificate of Competence ICC

The International Certificate Of Competence, ICC, is a Certificate of Competence that can be delivered to a person who has reached the age of 16 and who can operate a pleasure craft.
It consist in both an existing certificate’s conversion into an ICC or in an course and examination during which the candidate can learn and prove the necessary competence for pleasure craft operation.

In Order to obtain an ICC you must comply with ONE of the following:

– Being national of a country having ratified Resolution 40
– Being British resident
– Being British national
– Being National of the USA or Canada
– National of a country which is not a member of UNECE

We run ICC exams all year round. You can simply call us and set your e am date. We will provide you with the  syllabus of International Certificate Of Competence and the module consisting in the exam assessment.

The International Certificate of Competence assessment is mainly practical but includes the theoretical knowledge required to keep a high level of safety awareness.
